(Picasso Museum) one-bedroom apartment

This bright, sunny, pleasantly decorated one-bedroom apartment is on the 7th American floor of an early 20th-Century building, with elevator. The apartment is within walking distance of the Musée Picasso, the Musée Carnavalet, and the beautiful 17th century Place des Vosges. The area is full of interesting galleries, shops, cafes and historic mansions. There is a choice of two open-air markets, one on rue de Bretagne, le marché des Enfants Rouges, and also a huge market held three times a week on boulevard Richard Lenoir where there is a seemingly endless number of stalls selling wonderful cheese, flowers, fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, clothes, etc. There is a very good boulangerie just around the corner from the apartment and a supermarket a few minutes walk away, which will supply all your day-to-day needs.

The living room, with two windows overlooking the roofs of Paris, has two sofa beds, a coffee table which ingeniously becomes a dining table, and a mirrored wall. At one end of the living room, a well-appointed open kitchenette can be concealed by a pleated blind. The well-designed small bedroom has built-in closets and shelves surrounding the double bed, a wall-mounted TV, and a sink. The bathroom has a tub, wall-hung shower, and cabinets.

In the kitchenette, there is an oven/microwave, a fridge, a four-burner gas cook-top, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a coffee maker.

There is phone, cable TV and DSL. Free calls to cell and fixed phones to Canada, USA (except Alaska and Hawaii) and to fixed phones to the states of the European Union.

Don't miss the nearby museums, the cinemas and the Opéra Bastille. Have a walk down to le Marais and admire the historical houses.
