This bright, charming, large studio is located on rue du Petit Musc, on the third American floor.

Close to the Seine, l'Ile Saint Louis, la Place des Vosges and Opéra Bastille, the 300-year-old historical building has a fine courtyard and an interesting tiled staircase. The apartment is within walking distance of Musée Picasso, Musée Carnavalet and the wonderful 17th-century Place des Vosges. It is quite close to the rue Saint Antoine and rue de Rivoli known for their shops of all sorts.

You can stroll along the Seine, view the Centre Pompidou, the modern art museum packed with works by Matisse, Picasso and other masters. Just across the river you can marvel at the architecture of the Cathedral Notre Dame and the gothic Saint-Chapelle. The Marais is both historic and brimming with energy and entertainment to suit all tastes, from opera and ballet at the Bastille, to lively nightclubs, cafes and jazz bars. The center of the Marais is a lively neighborhood with a strong alternative lifestyle scene as well as lots of trendy bars, shops, and restaurants. The rue des Rosiers is a centerpiece of Jewish lifestyle in Paris and the Ile Saint-Louis and the Ile de la Cité are the oldest parts of Paris.

Crossing the river at about 10 minutes walking you reach l'Ile Saint-Louis, its hôtels particuliers and classical buildings. The island is surrounded by a tree-lined cobblestone embankment where you can stroll and immerse yourself in the beauty of the scenery.

On the left of the entry corridor of the apartment, separate wc, separate kitchen with a large window overlooking the courtyard equipped with a fridge, a four electric burner cook top, an oven, and dishwasher, coffe maker and a coffee table for breakfast with two chairs.

The main room is large with a high original wooden beamed ceiling. Two high windows open onto the quiet rue du Petit Musc. From time to time you can even see the horses of "La Garde Républicaine" .

There are two cupboards, a queen sofa bed with a real mattress, one armchair that can be converted into a one person bed, a comfortable leather armchair faces the fire place, in a corner of the room an old dining table with 3 chairs close to an ancient cupboard.

The floor is an original 3 century old (tomette) tiled floor.

The bathroom has a tub and a wall hanged shower.

All linens, towels, dinnerware, pots and pans are provided.

There is cable TV, DSL, telephone and free calls to cell and fixed phones to Canada, USA (except Alaska and Hawaii) free calls to fixed phones to the states of the European Union.

Two metro lines and two stations nearby : Sully Morland and Saint Paul and at least 3 bus lines 76, 86 and 69.
