Sunny, comfortable cozy studio (200 square-feet) in a very popular area of Paris on the fourth American floor. A block away from the apartment, the colourful Marché d’Aligre offers exotic spices, traditional Middle Eastern and North African food, and ethnic crafts: it is the best deals in town : the prices are the lowest in town. Arranged in the narrow, cobbled alleyways, it is a maze of canopied stalls with bric-a-brac, clothes, china seconds, and authentic, artisan-made foods. On the west side of the square, the covered market Beauvau-St-Antoine has remained much the same since it was built in 1843. With its Oriental-style tiled roof, it houses semi-permanent boutique-like stalls offering everything from specialty handmade cheeses to meats and produce from all over France. Affectionately known as BoBo, "Bourgeois Bohemian", this up and coming district offers shops and boutiques of every description. It has been the stage set for many movies of the old, true Parisian life of the late 40’s and early 50’s.

It is a colourful, multicultural, creative arrondissement. The subway (Ledru Rollin) is two minutes away, there are two bus lines that will take you to Saint Germain des Pres, l'Ile Saint Louis and the City Hall of Paris. You are seven minutes away from the Bastille Opera, 10 minutes away from Gare de Lyon and 15 minutes away from Gare d'Austerlitz. The area is full of restaurants of different cuisine of the world and typical French cuisine at decent prices.

The apartment is equipped with a computer, DSL connection. The computer has a CD/DVD player and good speakers so you can enjoy music, films and your favorite radio station.. The kitchen corner is equipped with a two electric burner cook top, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster, dishes pots and pans.

There is cable TV.
